Client: Lower East Side Tenement Museum
Architect: Perkins Eastman
The new Tenement Museum Visitor and Education Center at the corner of Orchard and Delancey offers 10,000 square feet of additional space, including classrooms, a screening room and gallery space.
Working closely with Tenement Museum Staff and Perkins Eastman Architects, Milder Office created unique retail fixtures that maximize display space while providing ample storage. Several units are mobile allowing the staff to easily re configure the floor layout. Milder Office Inc also furnished the Tenement Museum's offices in 2003 (Standard Architects) and have continued to support their needs through numerous expansions.
