Client: Burgiss Group
Architect: Demetri Sarantitis Architects
This project exemplifies the range of design and engineering support Milder Office can provide its clients. For the Burgiss Group, a developer of investment tools, we provided distinct workstation products including quads, hoteling stations for transitional workers, reception service and private offices.
We routinely develop new solutions that respond to the way our clients work, in this case developing a long banks of shared workstations for the trading floor with staggered seats and low partitions to facilitate communication between the analysts while keeping their screen private.
The architects asked us to develop a glass partition system that would integrate some of the existing site finishes while maintaining the overall look of the Milder Furniture System. Cherry sills and frosted glass elements were matched in the final partition design.

LITTLE Office (NC)
Architect: LITTLE Architecture
LITTLE is an architectural firm that came to Milder Office to overhaul their 10,000SF offices in Durham, NC. Our furniture system allowed the client to tailor products to their specific needs while maintaining a cohesive aesthetic throughout.
Clients have specialized needs, LITTLE wanted oversized desktops that could support the way they worked and could accommodate architectural plans. Milder also furnished conference tables, workstations for private offices, a variety of storage options, lounge furniture, as well as a custom kitchen. A mix of pre-finished plywood colors were specified throughout the space to great effect.
The AIA Orlando Chapter awarded a Merit Award to the LITTLE Durham office. The jury commended the project’s successful interiors reuse project for being “restraint with a minimalist approach and strong interior furniture elements”.

Brooklyn Industries Stores
Milder Office worked closely with Brooklyn Industries to create store fixtures that offered maximum flexibility for the company’s range of products. Adjustable shelves can be swapped for pegs, which can be swapped for hanging rails, offering store managers varied display for BKI’s clothing, bags and accessories. Shop displays are changed from month to month, season to season.
The system was installed in seven stores in NYC, as well as in Illinois and Oregon, using different plywood finishes including HP laminate.
T-Shirts are displayed through birch plywood frame and be easily changed.
Tables with lockable casters allow for a flexible floor plan.
